luggage rack

Anyone ever seen a del sol with a luggage rack on the trunk? I have an older corvette and have one that looks good, other sports cars have them too! Thought maybe Honda had one for the delsol that was low profile and looked sharp. With my two 14 inch subs in the trunk i can;t even get my roof lid in there. So a trunk mount rack like the corvette has for its t-top would be sweet. Maybe a corvette one stripped and powder coated the color of the del sol would look good?

I would just worry that the trunk lid wouldn't stand up to a lot of force on it. You can pretty much dent the body panels just by pushing on them so I would look into ways of reinforcing it if you try it.

Now granted these are ski racks. And as you can tell from the image location they are JDM only. But if you have any sort of connection to over there I'm sure they also made a luggage rack too. Or if you could get ahold of the ski rack you might be able to retro fit a luggage rack to it.

I tried cause i wanted on for my snowboard but they dont have them new anymore...and good luck finding a used one...
